Club Penguin’s 12th Annual Halloween Party – Complete Guide

This may be very late but here is the guide for the 12th annual Halloween Party on Club Penguin! A yearly tradition and the first official party on Club Penguin back in 2005, Halloween is one of the most anticipated parties of the year.

And this year it started very early, particularly on September 28 immediately following the 3rd Frozen Fever Party. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

The first thing you will notice is the loading screen advertising the party.

Once you log on, Gary will speak to you.

To the Dock you go for the first party task. This is the same generic kind of scavenger hunt at every party this year – just click on objects throughout the room. In this case it is candy. You need to hover your mouse over the candy. If it disappears, disregard it; if it’s solid, click it. I labeled the picture below with the answers. The yellow boxed candies you can collect, the red boxed candies are just there to be a distraction. Collect three in each room for your reward.

After doing this, Gary will appear and give you the Skeleton Mask and the Skeleton costume, both for members.

Now let’s move on to the interface…

There are new tasks available until Saturday, October 29th. They will be released upon the designated date. There are 2-3 days in between each task. There are some new items, too!

Other than that, the transformations have returned from 2013 – no robots this time! Members can transform into vampires, ghosts (first available in 2012), zombies, and werewolves at the Beach. Members can also adopt Ghost Puffles from the Dock, last available at this year’s Puffle Party in March. Here’s the membership notices:

Decoration wise, this party is the same exact thing as last year, besides moderate changes to the Beach and the Coffee Shop no longer decorated (but the music still plays). Yes, I know Club Penguin is putting effort into Project: Super Secret, but at least consider working on your current game. It would have also been nice to have some non-member items. There are none unless you include the anniversary hat and background.

There is some classics though that never get old, like the Slime Pool in the Cave, the Ski Hill pole turned into a scarecrow with a pumpkin head, and, of course, Night of the Living Sled at the Lighthouse.

Almost every room is decorated island-wide – even rooms like the Dojo Courtyard, Dojo, Ice Rink, and the Puffle Park – so be sure to check everything out. It’s just the same as last year, however.

The party goes on until November 2nd, making it the longest Halloween Party in the game’s history – five weeks long. Gary is also waddling around (with no new background). For meet-up times, click here and here.

And one more thing, there are three special party emotes, each with an animation and sound effect.

That’s all I have to say, and…
