Club Penguin New Years Celebration 2016

It’s two days until New Year’s Day 2016, so Club Penguin has added their annual fireworks to celebrate at the Mountain and the Iceberg. Also, something new this year, there are now dance floors! Take a look:

Nice addition! Also, to make room for the dance floor, at the Iceberg the tree that grows depending on the number of penguins of the room was removed and the presents were pushed to the side.

Here are some facts about fireworks on Club Penguin:

  • The first fireworks were during the Christmas Party 2006 for the 2007 New Year.
  • Sound effects weren’t added until 2009, along with the puffle firework at the end.
  • They are usually seen from the Mountain and Iceberg, but have been at the Beacon and the Snow Forts in the past (even shot through a cannon in the Town during the 4th Anniversary Party)
  • Sometimes, but not often, the Holiday Party and fireworks overlap, giving a night sky for the fireworks.
  • Fireworks are usually around New Year’s Eve/Day, the 4th of July/Canada Day, and the Festival of Lights.
